Mahatma Gandhi

Mohandas Gandhi grew up in a large, traditional Hindu family.

1. His mother wanted him to  follows the Hindu tradition.
2. His wife was picked for him at a young age.
3. They lived under the caste system.

Gandhi followed his Hindu customs no matter what.

1. His parents sent him to London to study law.
2. There he found an all vegetarian restaurant.
3. For a while he tried to fit in, but it didn't work out.
